Peace Doves Attacked

The peace doves that the Pope released from the window of the Apostolic Palace, where attacked by a crow and seagull.
One of the doves was peck to death by a crow, and another lost a few feathers to a seagull. At the end one of the doves managed to escape and fly away from the attacking birds.

In Austria, there is an amazing place - Grüner See (Green Lake). From August to April - it`s a green park with paths, benches, green meadows, bridges over streams.But in the spring the water level in the lake rises strongly because of the melting snow and glaciers in the mountains, so the melt water floods the valley every year, making it a lake of 4-5 meters depth.

Wookies Among Us

The beloved Wookies from Star Wars are not as different from us as we thought. Those strange guttural sounds coming from Chewbacca’s mouth could have meant many things, but by glancing through these photographs chronicling Mako Miyamotos study of Wookies living on earth, it appears he might have been saying “After this stupid war, can we go get a cold beer and have some fun?”.
Mako Miyamoto takes his lens and his Wookie masks on the road to show us how Wookies really live.
